TESTING The test is on the CD ROM. You must register before you can take the test. Theoretical Section: You must score 100% on the 25 multiple choice. If you make 2 mistakes you must re-start the test. You can take this section of the test as often as you like, however the answers to the questions will change each time you attempt the test. Practical Section: You must score 100% on each of the practical questions. There will be between 7 and 12 scenarios where you must demonstrate that you know what to do and that you can perform the correct skills. You will be tested on every skill which is required by the American Heart Association Guidelines. For example you will have to demonstrate

MISTAKES - If you make a mistake, you have the choice of going back to part of the course where that is taught, or you can re-start the test. SECTIONS - You do not have to complete all of the test at one time. As long as you finish a section, you can start the test from the next section. |
